Day 1, Friday
- Depart Canada/USA
Departure from Toronto, Montreal or New York on our overnight
flight to Cairo. (In-flight meals)
Day 2, Saturday
- Cairo
Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport we will be met
and assisted through immigration and customs
then transferred to our hotel.
Day 3, Sunday
- Cario
Today we visit the great Pyramids of Giza and their guardian
Sphinx, Memphis - first capital of the ancient kingdom to
see the statue of Ramses II then to Sakkara to see the Step
pyramid. Overnight at our hotel (BL)
Day 4, Monday
- Cairo
This morning we visit the Egyptian Museum which houses the
treasures of King Tut then to the Citadel of Salah Eldien
and Khan El Khalili Bazaar. Overnight at our hotel. (BL)
Day 5, Tuesday
- Aswan
This morning we are transferred to Cairo Airport for our flight
to Aswan. (Optional trip by air to Abu Simbel *). Then we
will be escorted to embark on the Nile cruise ship-our floating
hotel for the next five days. After lunch, we sail by 'felucca'
a traditional Nile sailing boat, to view Kitchener Island
and the Agha Khan Mausoleum. Overnight in Aswan. (BLD)
Day 6, Wednesday
- Komombo / Edfo
Today we visit the impressive Aswan High Dam and its huge
lake, and the Temple of Philae. Then we cruise to Komombo
to visit the Temple shared by the Gods Sobek & Haroeris.
Tonight we enjoy a special costume party featuring Native
Egyptian and pharaonic style. Overnight in Edfo. (BLD)
Day 7, Thursday
- Esna / Luxor
This morning we explore the Temple of Horus, the falcon god.
Then we sail to Esna and continue sailing to Luxor. Overnight
in Luxor. (BLD)
Day 8, Friday
- Luxor
Today we explore the wondrous Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut's
Temple, and the Colossi of Memnon. This afternoon we visit
Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple. Overnight in Luxor. (BLD)
Day 9, Saturday
- Luxor / Cairo
Today we will be transferred to the airport for our flight
back to Cairo. (Optional Day-Tour Alexandria) Overnight in
Cairo. (B)
Day 10,
Sunday - Cairo / Tel Aviv
Today we will be transferred to Cairo International Airport
for our flight to Tel Aviv. Upon arrival, we will be met and
assisted though customs and transferred to our hotel in Jerusalem.

Day 11,
Monday - Jerusalem & Bethlehem
Today we tour the old city and enter through the Jaffa gate
to the Jewish quarter to the Wailing Wall. Next admire the
Dome of the Rock, a splendid mosque on the Temple Mount. Follow
the 14 Stations of the Cross along the Via Dolorosa to Golgotha
and visit the Church of the Holy Sepulchre erected over the
site of the crucifixion. Leave the old city for lunch on your
own. Continue for a visit to Yad Vashem; on to the menorah
by the Knesset then drive to Bethlehem, the birthplace of
Jesus Christ. View Shepherds field and visit the Church of
Nativity the oldest church in the world and Manger Square.
Then we drive back to Jerusalem for overnight. (B)
Day 12,
Tuesday - Jerusalem
Today is free at leisure, perhaps join an optional tour to
MASADA- DEAD SEA- EIN GEDI. Overnight in Jerusalem. (B)
Day 13,
Wednesday - Nazareth / Capernaum / Tiberias
Today we drive through the Jordan Valley to Nazareth to visit
the Church of Annunciation. Continue via Can of Galilee the
site of Jesus' first miracle where Jesus turned the water
into wine, on to Capernaum, visiting the ancient Jewish synagogue
of the temple period where Jesus began his ministry. Visit
Tabgha, site of the Multiplication of Loaves and Fish, and
mount of Beatitudes, where Jesus delivered his Sermon on the
Mount. Continue to Tiberias for lunch on your own at the Lido
and then enjoy a cruise on the Sea of Galilee, then we proceed
to Yardenit the pilgrim Baptismal site on the Jordan River.
We drive back to Jerusalem for overnight. (B)
Day 14,
Thursday - Jerusalem / Cairo
Today we will be transferred to the airport for our flight
to Cairo. Overnight in Cairo. (B)
Day 15, Friday - Depart Cairo
Today we will be transferred to Cairo International Airport
for our flight back home. (B & in-flight meals) |
