Itinerary

Day 1, Friday - Depart Canada / USA
Departure from Toronto, Montreal or New York on our overnight flight to Cairo. (In-flight meals)

Day 2, Saturday - Cairo
Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport we will be met and assisted through immigration and customs then transferred to our hotel.

Day 3, Sunday - Cairo
Today we visit the great Pyramids of Giza and their guardian Sphinx, Memphis-first capital of the ancient kingdom to see the statue of Ramses II then to Sakkara to see the Step pyramid. Overnight at our hotel (BL)

Day 4, Monday - Cairo
This morning we visit the Egyptian Museum which houses the treasures of King Tut then to the Citadel of Salah Eldien and Khan El Khalili Bazaar. Overnight at our hotel. (BL)

Day 5, Tuesday - Aswan
This morning we are transferred to Cairo Airport for our flight to Aswan. (Optional trip by air to Abu Simbel *). Then we will be escorted to embark on the Nile cruise ship-our floating hotel for the next five days. After lunch, we sail by ‘felucca’ a traditional Nile sailing boat, to view Kitchener Island and the Agha Khan Mausoleum. Overnight in Aswan. (BLD)

Day 6, Wednesday - Komombo / Edfo
Today we visit the impressive Aswan High Dam and its huge lake, and the Temple of Philae. Then we cruise to Komombo to visit the Temple shared by the Gods Sobek & Haroeris. Tonight we enjoy a special costume party featuring Native Egyptian and pharaonic style. Overnight in Edfo. (BLD)

Day 7 , Thursday - Esna / Luxor
This morning we explore the Temple of Horus, the falcon god. Then we sail to Esna and continue sailing to Luxor. Overnight in Luxor. (BLD)

Day 8, Friday - Luxor
Today we explore the wondrous Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut’s Temple, and the Colossi of Memnon. This afternoon we visit Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple. Overnight in Luxor. (BLD)

Day 9, Saturday - Luxor / Cairo
Today we will be transferred to the airport for our flight back to Cairo. ( Optional Day-Tour Alexandria) Overnight in Cairo. (B)

Day 10, Sunday - Cairo / Dubai
Today we will be transferred to Cairo International Airport for our flight to Dubai. Upon arrival, We will be met & assisted through customs & immigration and transferred to our hotel. (B)

Day 11, Monday - Dubai
Today we enjoy and experience both the modern and the ancient of Dubai the magnificent Jumeirah mosque, the World Trade Center - one of the highest buildings in the Middle East. After a short break by the Creek we arrive to the oldest part of the city, Bastakia where old wind-towered houses of wealthy merchants are still to be seen. Close by we visit the fascinating Dubai Museum in the Al Fahidi Fort, which has been there almost for two centuries defending the settlers of early days. We continue our tour through Textile Market on our way to Abras, local water taxis that will take us across the Creek to the area of spice and gold souks. The rest of the day is free at leisure to enjoy the beach. (B)

Day 12, Tuesday - Desert Safari
This morning is free at leisure to enjoy the beach. This afternoon we will departure for 1001Arabian Night in the desert by 4 WD vehicles, the jeeps will go through the desert of the golden sand dunes. The dune bashing or desert driving continues with the thrill of going up and down the dunes provoking many shrieks and laughs full of excitement. Then we will proceed to the main campsite to witness a memorable sight - the true Arabian sunset with its glory. At the dusk there is an opportunity to try some Camel riding. Nearby the Bedouin camp a delicious Barbecue dinner is prepared on open fires. The set up in this camp is of Persian rugs and traditional accessories to create a typical Bedouin camp under the stars. The tempo of the music increases as a Belly dancer starts dancing to the rhythm of the Arabic music. After dinner we drive back to the hotel for overnight. (BD)

Day 13, Wednesday - Abu Dhabi
Today we departure for full day Abu Dhabi City. On our way we will pass the Jebel Ali Port - the largest man-made port in the world. Then we visit the Petroleum Exhibition and watch a film about the amazing development in Abu Dhabi. Afterwards we will stop at a carpet market where a huge variety of fabulous carpets from all around the world. After lunch we will visit the old souk where you can experience the bustle of everyday life and the magnificent Abu Dhabi Corniche up to the end of the breakwater that stretches out into the sea, giving you a splendid view of the city skyline. We then visit a local craft center where local handicrafts based on the traditional ‘tali’ handwork are made. Then we visit a Dhow yard where traditional boats are built the same way they have been for hundreds of years. Evening return to our hotel in Dubai for overnight. (BL)

Day 14, Thursday - Dubai / Cairo
Today we will be transferred to the airport for our flight to Cairo for overnights. (B)

Day 15, Friday - Depart Cairo
Today we will be transferred to the airport for our flight back home. (B)
