Itinerary
Day 1, Depart
Canada / USA
Departure from Toronto, Montreal and New York (JFK) on our
overnight flight to Cairo. (In-flight meals)
Day 2, Arrive
Cairo
Upon arrival at Cairo Airport, we will be met and assisted
through immigration and customs then transferred to our hotel.

Day 3, Cairo
Today we visit the magnificent great Pyramids of Giza, their
guardian Sphinx, the Egyptian museum which houses the richest
collection of antiquities ever discovered including the fabulous
treasures of King Tutankhamon. Also visit the Citadel of Salah
Eldien and Khan El Khalili bazaar. (BL)
Day 4, Cairo
/ Abu Simbel
This morning we are transferred to Cairo Airport for our flight
to Abu Simbel. Then we will be escorted to embark on the Lake
Nasser cruise ship. After lunch we visit Abu Simbel temples,
symbol of the international campaign for the salvage of the
Nubian monuments, the Temples of Ramses II and his beloved
wife Nefertari. A welcome cocktail will be served in front
of the two temples, followed by a candlelight dinner on board
overlooking the temples. (BLD)
Day 5, Abu
Simbel / Kasr Ibrim
For those who would like to watch the spectacular sunrise
at Abu Simbel, please enjoy an early morning visit to the
temples. Breakfast is served while sailing to Kasr Ibrim.
Arrival at Kasr Ibrim, sole vestige of the distant past of
Nubia found in its original location. During the Pharaonic
period, this hill was dominated by a citadel and throughout
the Medieval area. Lunch will be served while sailing to Amada.
Visit the temple of Amada of the XVIIIth dynasty, built during
the reign of Thotmosis III, Amenophis III and Thotmosis IV.
The hemi –speos of Derr dedicated by Ramses II to the
rising sun and the tomb of Penout, viccroy of Nubia. A relaxing
afternoon sail to Wadi El Seboua. (BLD)
Day 6, Wadi
EL Seboua
Morning visit to Wadi El Seboua which was dedicated by Ramses
II to the two Gods Amon Ra and Ra Iiarmakis. The temple of
Dakka, dedicated to the God Thot of Divine wisdom, lord of
time and science, master of literature. Visit the Greco Roman
temple of Meharakka. Sail to Aswan for overnight. (BLD)
Day 7, Aswan
Disembarkation after breakfast, visit the Kalabsha
temple with its Pharaonic aspect, remodeled into the Greco
–Roman style and dedicated to the God Mandoulis. Also
visiting the hemi - speos of Beit El Wali, erected by Ramses
II in the beginning of his reign and the Kiosk of Kertassi,
erected to honour the Goddess Isis. Overnight in Aswan. (BD)
Day 8, Aswan
This morning we are transferred to embark on the
Nile cruise ship - our floating hotel for the next five days.
After lunch, we sail by ‘felucca’, a traditional
Nile sailing boat, to view Kitchener Island and the Agha Khan
Mausoleum. Overnight in Aswan. (BLD)
Day 9, Komombo
/ Edfo
Today we visit the impressive Aswan High Dam and
its huge lake, and the Temple of Philae. Then we cruise to
Komombo to visit the Temple shared by the Gods Sobek &
Haroeris.Tonight we enjoy a special costume party featuring
Native Egyptian and Pharaonic styles. Overnight in Edfo. (BLD)
Day 10,
Esna / Luxor
This morning we explore the Temple of Horus, the
Falcon God.. Then we sail to Esna and continue sailing to
Luxor. Overnight in Luxor. (BLD)
Day 11,
Luxor
Today we explore the wondrous Valley of the Kings,
Hatshepsut’s Temple, and the Colossi of Memnon. This
afternoon we visit Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple.Overnight
in Luxor. (BLD)
Day 12,
Luxor / Sharm Elsheikh (Sinai-Red Sea)
Today we will be transferred to Luxor airport for
our flight to Sharm ElSaeikh where we will be met and escorted
to our hotel. The balance of the day is free to enjoy the
beaches. (BD)
Day 13,
14, 15, Sharm Elsheikh (Sinai-Red Sea)
Three days to enjoy the Crystal clear waters, deep
sea diving, colored fish, snorkeling, fishing, Golfing, Camel
Ride, Desert Safari, Bedouin Tent, the sunny sandy beaches
and the water sports. (BD) (Optional tour to St. Catherine
Monastery)
Day 16,
Sharm Elsheikh / Cairo
Today we will be transferred to the airport for our
flight back to Cairo. Overnight in Cairo. (B)
Day 17,
Cairo
Today is free at leisure perhaps join optional tour
to Alexandria or visit Memphis and Sakkara. (B)
Day 18, Depart Cairo
Today we will be transferred to Cairo Airport for our flight
back home. (B & in-flight meals)
