Day
1: Arusha/ Lake Manyara
Arrival
at Kilimanjaro International Airport . Met by a GMTours representative
and depart for Lake Manyara National Park to arrive for lunch
at the Lodge. On our afternoon game drive we seek the famous
tree-climbing lions, a sight we will most definitely never
forget. Dinner and overnight at LODGE (BLD).
Day 2: Lake Manyara / Serengeti
After
breakfast at the Lodge, drive to Africa 's most famous park
- the Serengeti. Arriving in time for lunch at your Lodge.
Afternoon game drive, then later, return to the lodge. All
meals and overnight at LODGE (BLD).
Day
3: Serengeti
Spend
another full day to explore its 5,600 sq. miles. We
will see cheetah, giraffe, lion, leopard, elephant - the list
is endless. Each year it is the scene of the great migration
where millions of wildebeest and zebra make their annual trek
in search of fresh grass. Serengeti National Park is
the Africa most of us have seen on television. Many
National Geographic specials have been filmed here.
All meals at the lodge, overnight at LODGE
(BLD).
Day
4: Serengeti / Ngorongoro
After
breakfast, morning game drive in Serengeti National Park .
After lunch, depart for Ngorongoro via Olduvai Gorge , site
of archeological findings. The Maasai and their cattle co-exist
with the wildlife in this area, and visitors are able to appreciate
this ancient interplay between wildlife and man. Interpretive
game drives through the emerald plains and forests of the
crater floor. Dinner and overnight at LODGE
(BLD).
Day
5: Ngorongoro
After
breakfast, full day tour of Ngorongoro. Here you can see a
spectacular concentration of wildlife, including the big five.
Drive across the dense forest near the soda lake and enjoy
viewing a variety of bird life. Ascend to the lodge from the
2000ft. deep crater. Picnic lunch on the way. Dinner and overnight
at LODGE (BLD).
Day
6: Ngorongoro/ Arusha
After
breakfast, depart for Arusha. Lunch at New Arusha Hotel. Transfer
to the airport to board your onward flight home or to Zanzibar.
